THE HAUNTED: Mixing Complete

Swedish thrashers THE HAUNTED have posted the following message on their web site:

"The mixing [of the new album] is all done and it turned out great... In the end, the mixing fell on wild card Tue Madsen from Antfarm Studios in Denmark. We were really happy with the Charles Storm-mixes, but the songs felt a little too sophisticated for what we're trying to convey with this album. As it were, Tue tried mixing a couple of the tracks, and as soon as we heard his mixes we felt we had to turn it over to Tue, because the raw honesty he brought out of the sound. Now we're looking at a rough, hard and clean bite to what we've cooked up. It's a hell of a lot closer to what we do live.

"Here is a video clip interview with Jonas recorded at Studio Fredman in March and here is a video clip from the covert listening session at Studio Fredman (May 29)."
